Education Support Africa
In November 2017, Sisters4Islam launched the Educate Programme to sponsor needy and orphan children at a village school in Western Uganda.
Through generous donations, fifty-six primary, and two secondary students were sponsored in 2018.
We have now launched appeals in order to continue to educate even more students.
Secondary School
Sisters4Islam is appealing to help raise funds to sponsor orphans and needy children’s education.
Rahma, Warda, Zeinab and Mwana Asha are all female orphaned, and potentially bright students in a secondary school in Kenya. They are hopeful of earning qualifications to help support their own families in the future.
Primary School
Orphaned, and from poor backgrounds, are Salihat, Zeinab and Peninah. Three young Muslim girls currently in their second year at University in Uganda and Kenya.
Salihat wants to be a Teacher, Zainab a Librarian and Peninah an Accountant. The only thing that prevents them from realising their dreams is tuition fees.
We need your support to help these students, and many more like these, cover the tuition fee for the whole year and help set up an income-generating project to sustain their education until completion.
As the saying goes, “It takes a village to raise a child” and “Educating a girl child means educating a Nation”
